Ian Drewer – Chief Executive

Ian Drewer became Chief Executive of Strategic Risks Partnerships Limited when the company was founded in 2006.
He has some forty years experience in insurance and risk management and has held senior risk management appointments
in the pharmaceutical, telecommunications, transportation and leisure sectors. His contribution to the development of risk
management practice over this period includes various voluntary roles with such industry organisations as the Association
of Insurance and Risk Managers (AIRMIC), the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) and the CBI. He is also the author of
articles on insurance and risk management topics and a contributor to several text books and reference works.
Ian holds a Master of Science degree from Cass Business School, City University London and is a Fellow of the Chartered
Insurance Institute and a Founding Fellow of the Institute of Risk Management. He is also a designated Member of the
Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and of the Institution of Fire Engineers.
